Mr. Scott focuses his practice on personal injury and civil rights litigation representing individuals in suits opposing insurance companies, corporations and governmental entities. Over the past twelve years, he has represented hundreds of clients in both State and Federal court in cases ranging from wrongful arrest to wrongful death having won millions. Notably, Mr. Scott has beat the odds by overcoming qualified immunity in a number of federal civil rights lawsuits developing a reputation as one of few attorneys successfully pursuing civil rights cases. The firm routinely receives attorney referrals as a result.

Mr. Scott received my undergraduate degree from Anderson University with a double major in Accounting and Business Management. Following a short career in asset management, he enrolled at John Marshall School of Law where he received his law degree in 2011.  During law school, he was a member of the John Marshall Law Review and practiced as a criminal trial attorney under the 3rd year practice act. Born and raised on a cattle farm in Henry County, Georgia, Mr. Scott was a three-sport athlete and a decorated high school wrestler. As a college freshman, he was the starting 197 lb. wrestler for Gardner Webb University. He then transferred to Anderson University where he became a nationally ranked NCAA wrestler at 197 lb. twice qualifying for the NCAA Division II National Tournament. While in law school, and for several years thereafter as a practicing attorney, he pursued a mixed martial career amassing a 7-1 record as an Advanced Amateur. In addition, Mr. Scott is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Roberto Traven (2018) having won and placed in numerous international IBJJF tournaments including the Pan Ams and World Championships. He currently lives in Macon, Georgia with his wife Ashley and their four children (Audrey, Duncan, Abigail, & Finley), and their dog Zooma. Mr. Scott's experience provides a wealth of knowledge, not only of the law, but about competition, picking your battles, and how to win. Seeing every client find his or her path to recovery is the most important thing to him professionally.
